Popular Tamil actress Trisha is all set to make her Bollywood debut opposite Akshay Kumar, thanking Priyadarshan to give the opportunity. . she has been offered her debut Bollywood project by the Remake King, Priyadarshan, who initially had given her first film platform with ‘Leysa Leysa’ in Tamil. Akshay Kumar whose Hari Om production house has already signed up Trisha opposite Akshay for Khatta Meeta, has now signed the top Southern actress for two more movies.
Trisha says "My lucky director Priyadarshan, who introduced me in Tamil movies, is giving me a break in Hindi films too. After my debut in 'Lesa, Lesa', I was reticent about my career. Now with a firm foot in southern cinema, things have worked out for Bollywood as well, thanks to Priyadarshan. I have a meaty role on par with Akshay in the movie,".
The shooting of Trisha's debut film in Hindi, 'Khatta Meeta', will commence only from October and will be completed in three months' time.
